Legal & Change Communications

Webster Bank Systems Conversion Communications

Webster Bank Systems Conversion

Challenges

Webster Bank acquired Sterling National Bank, which was rebranded Webster at legal close. The banks continued to operate separately for more than one year.

Sterling’s operating system was chosen to host the combined organization; therefore, Webster clients experienced a full product and service conversion long after the merger took place.

Solutions

Position Webster’s systems conversion as an update to an enhanced product lineup and improved digital platform, without reference to the merger.

Analyze and capture product mapping criteria to enable the correct message assignment by way of a programming matrix that drove the production of more than 500,000 personalized mail packages.

Provide an optimal customer experience by providing product change information referencing the accounts held by each client. Additional digital tactics supported an omnichannel strategy.
