Maxwell Chalkin joined MKP in 2019. Prior to joining the MKP team, he was First Vice President, Senior Marketing Manager at Amalgamated Bank of New York. His responsibilities included traditional and digital marketing projects across all of the bank’s channels for customer and media communications, promotions and campaigns and product and platform conversions and launches during a historic time in the bank's history when it rebranded, went public and, for the first time, acquired another bank. He twice spearheaded the design, development, and launch of amalgamatedbank.com and all digital integrations. Prior to Amalgamated, Maxwell was Chief of Staff for a Massachusetts state representative and managed winning Massachusetts state representative and Cambridge City Council campaigns. He also worked in biotechnology communication for Tufts University and started a successful English language academy in Spain.

Maxwell is fluent in Spanish and is a graduate of Tufts University, having majored in philosophy and Spanish language and literature. He enjoys quality time with friends and family (and their pets!), writing, cooking and scuba diving.
